Crostini

Yield: about 8 crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 pound loaf Italian bread or Levain, cut into 1” thick slices
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Place the slices on a half sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and then sprinkle lightly with salt.

3. Bake for 15 minutes on 1 side until golden then turn over and bake until other side is golden. Toast should still be soft at the center. Reserve.
